First Class Lingerie
First Class Lingerie is a curated online boutique specializing in high-quality Brazilian lingerie for the Japanese market. Launched in February 2021, the business began by selling through Instagram and WhatsApp, focusing on personalized service and product quality. In April 2022, the company expanded its sales channels with the launch of a standalone e-commerce site to provide customers with a convenient, 24/7 shopping experience.
The challenge
First Class Lingerie’s initial online presence depended entirely on social channels and direct messaging platforms. While this approach fostered close customer relationships, it limited the brand’s ability to scale. Manual order management, fragmented customer interactions, and restricted shopping hours made it difficult to build repeat business, improve operational efficiency, and capture growth opportunities in the competitive Japanese e-commerce landscape.
At the same time, off-the-shelf e-commerce platforms introduced limitations in flexibility, ongoing costs, and control over customer experience. For a growing business with a clearly defined audience, these constraints made it difficult to iterate quickly and adapt the platform to real operational needs.

Along the way, the business has achieved eight-figure revenue in yen, supported by a platform designed to scale steadily while maintaining operational stability. For Abtz Labs, this project also serves as a production-grade validation of KiwiCart, demonstrating its ability to support a live, revenue-generating e-commerce business in the Japanese market under real operational conditions.
